Inigo Jones
I work at Inigo Jones Slate Works crafting products made of local slate for the home. I first started working at the slate works during school holidays, and having completed qualifications in tourism, moving on to work here full time felt to be a natural progression. I was aware of the sort of work that went on here and felt I could also use my qualifications, as Inigo Jones by then had opened its doors to the public as a tourist attraction. It’s feels like a job well done when I see the products on sale in the showroom. We are making products from local slate to be treasured and items to be kept forever.
