Cadi Iolen
Curator

I’ve been interested in history ever since I was a child, and as I was brought up in Bethesda I had a good understanding of the history of the quarrying areas - this makes this job perfect for me! I started working at the Museum during the summer when I studied a History and Education degree course at Bangor University.

After leaving University I got a job as the curator of the site and then I completed an MA in Museum Studies at the University of Leicester. I think the variety is the best thing—no one day is the same as another. The worst thing is not having enough me to do everything!
