Jeweller

For me, the fascination with slate began as a teenager, exploring the incredible Dinorwig slate quarry; getting up close to this raw and beautiful place.

I make jewellery from local slate, which contains an extraordinary range of colours formed naturally over the last 500 million years.

I'm interested in combining slate with silver, gold or oxidised copper. Often drawn to contrasting textures, natural form, gaining motivation from nature.

It's important that each piece should be practical and comfortable to wear, durable in design and made to the highest level of workwomanship.
